Many thanks to [livejournal.com profile] moonlightnrain for being willing to ask the THQ guys for an answer to the neverending leather strap quest on the Omashu level of the Avatar game. Apparently I did actually manage to find a rather large bug that, if you do the quests just out of the order they expect you to, means you're trapped in the city forever. So R- took the hit for me and played up through that level again from the previous one and sure enough it worked just fine. I got as far as the big boss for the level last night before going to bed. Also had to run through a city infested with Firebenders as stupid, useless Haru. Scared the bejeezus out of me. I really hope they don't make me do that as Katara at some point or I'm going to cry.

Although I'm still missing one damn pumpkin in the Momo quest, which irks me.

Anyway I actually left on time for the first time all week (and most of last), and actually got home before 7 pm, despite running a couple of errands. Go me! I doubt I'll be able to replicate that tonight.

Oh, also, Jon Stewart dismantling Scott McClellan on last night's Daily Show was an absolute thing of beauty. My favorite moment was when he flat out asked him, "Is Dick Cheney evil?" and McClellan actually paused before launching into his spiel about the VP having a different world view from most people. To which Jon replied, "Do you know what they call people whose world view differs from Cheney? The living." You could tell that as much as Stephen had wanted O'Reilly on his show, Jon had been itching to have Scotty on his.

That damn pumpkin quest was a bitch. I thought maybe they'd be up by the tea house (or rather the seedy part of town up there, whatever it's called) but no such luck. But apparently you found one I hadn't, go you.

Speaking of going... I'll see you shortly. :)

PS: Nice icon!

I made the mistake of listening to a 1/2 hour of NPR this morning and they were interviewing Scott. Aside from wondering what planet the guy lives on, I was disgusted the way NPR threw him softballs through the entire interview.

It reminded me why I don't listen anymore.

If you didn't catch him on the Daily Show do a YouTube search for the interview, it will warm your heart, I promise you.

I'll check it out. Daily Show and Colbert Report are the only things I can watch that involves politics, and Keith Olbermann, of course.
