Yeah, Clarissa, explain it all!
Aug. 16th, 2006 08:15 amSo
moonlightnrain has put together sort of the definitive Venture Brothers mix cd, though I do need the track listing for this one ;) I'm wondering if it could be uploaded to iTunes as an iMix. I suspect it would be a huge hit, but I'm not sure if the dialogue clips would work. This might just need to be attempted as an experiment.
Decided that instead of writing last night I was just going to flick around online grabbing songs I wanted from iTunes and reading up on Inuyasha plots. Hey I figure taking a night off to play isn't really the end of the world and I'll get back to it again tonight so as not to lose momentum. I'm too keen to break that 55,000 word barrier.
On the plus side I did get a chance to start throwing songs together for the mix that'll accompany the sequel to my current story. I know I shouldn't be screwing around with stuff relating to the second until I finish the first, but I'm a Gemini and therefore have the attention span of a three year old on a serious Hershey's fix. The mix is going to be killer, I can already tell. Lots of Motown, not quite sure why, but it just seems right somehow. And hey, adding to my R&B collection isn't a bad thing.
PS- Anybody in the area who wants to join the madness of viewing Snakes on a Plane opening night,
aelfsciene,
moonlightnrain and I will be at the Mercado, 7:00 pm showing. I suspect it will be a goofy, fun, MST3k-type experience, so please do come!

Date: 2006-08-16 05:06 pm (UTC)Oh! And I've submitted it for an iMix. They only grab songs that are available on iTunes, but it's still a fun mix and in the description I suggested people add their own wav files (readily available... I found 36 yesterday). Supposedly I get an email telling me whether or not it has been published. I'll let you know.
