Well my weekend has started with a bang...or rather a grinding of metal on metal. A guy from the office downstairs just scraped the passenger side of my car. At least he was decent enough to tell me he'd done it and very apologetic, still...grr. So I get to spend part of the weekend getting estimates on bodywork. Dammit.

Oh, that's awful, I'm so sorry to hear it!

Is that the side that got keyed? I'm hoping if nothing else that that could get fixed under the same claim, if it's the same area.

And I'll take care of any driving for the rest of the weekend, if you can drop your car off somewhere soon. Good luck on estimates!

Got a very good estimate next door at Maaco, which would be damned convenient for me too. I need to get one more this weekend then let the guy know. He'll definitely want to just pay for this himself as it's really not going to be that expensive and he told me he had a $500 deductible. It'll cost well less than that, thankfully. If they do a good job on it I may have them take care of the keying damage too after I get my tax refund.

Oh, I hope that works out, then! Lmk if you'll need a ride to/from class, or whatever else, if your car's in the shop, too.
