Just got my doctor's bill from last month. *wince* Christ, looking at the itemized list of what amounted to about 15 minutes with my doc and a few fairly simple bloodtests was alarming. I'm fully covered and I still owe quite a bit, I can't even begin to imagine what something like this would cost an uninsured person. Wait, yes I can 'cause I can see all the charges. The best part is that I never even got the results of one of the tests that cost close to $300. I have an appointment tomorrow to talk to her about some ongoing stomach issues and I intend to find out the results of that test then.

I sincerely hope I won't need further expensive tests, I'm not entirely sure I can afford them.

Poor thing. :( I know about not being able to afford going to the doc even *with* insurance.
