I have very little to report today save that it does appear that the Dr. Who eps will play on a computer (only it must be a better one than mine as it freezes up nearly continuously- the system, not the DVD), I made it through work no problem yesterday (having a nice, juicy new project to focus on helped immensely), and my kitchen is now more organized than it has been since I moved in. I see a long weekend spent organizing my place in general. I blame ravenmb, for having such a well organized and tidy apartment that's even smaller than my own. If she can work wonders with her little place I now know there's no excuse for me not to get mine in better shape.

Also started, gods help me, her requested Snupin screwball comedy fic. It's loosely based on "Bringing Up Baby", though I toyed long and hard with "The Bachelor and the Bobby Soxer" which I'm still convinced would've worked splendidly. I just keep seeing Snape in Myrna Loy's role...it's kind of freaky, actually.

Oh and Aelf, I did record Venture Brothers, and it was indeed the ghost pirate episode "Ghosts of the Sargasso", I'll show it to you this weekend.

et tu? someone showed up at our house months ago with the CBC leaked version. next thing I know, I am making DVDs for half my friends list. I blame the US networks for turning me into a 'bad person.' They turned Dr Who down, so I must needs get my fix somehow.

Oh my yes, though I need to see if they're going to be released in a PAL set on Amazon UK, I've got an all regions DVD player so I can pick those up along with another season of Blake's 7 while I'm at it.

I reviewed aanother fan's draft Dr Who vid this week - it was very good. So look for the 2 announcements in August (we are showing them at a convention and the rules require they be kept offline until then).

I'm completely serious, I'm inspired now to spend at least part of this long weekend trying to get my own place into 1/10th as good a shape as yours. I am truly in awe.
