Jun. 1st, 2005 08:43 amSo I didn't get an overwhelming response to yesterday's posted story, but those who did read it seemed to enjoy it so that's a good thing. I'm not sure it quite justifies devoting my weekend to it, but then I rarely think anything that requires my total devotion for an entire long weekend is worthwhile. I like getting lots of stuff done rather than just one big thing.
Class was good last night, I think we're starting to get the hang of the new choreography. C- is calling it "Shintoza" (sp?) which is Italian for "woman with attitude", which sums the piece up nicely. I showed off my half finished bra and people seemed to buy into the idea. I think J-'s enthusiasm for it helped a lot. I'm going to try to finish up the bra's basic covering tonight, or tomorrow night at the latest. Then I can get some bells and bangles to add to it.
Also got a notice from the DMV that they'd really like me to renew my Bug. This seems rather silly to me as I no longer own/drive it. So I get to spend part of my day attempting to contact a real live person at the DMV to clear this up. Joy.

Date: 2005-06-01 04:44 pm (UTC)Having dealt with this before--only thing I can think of is that the DMV requires you send them a Form (tm) notifying them when you no longer own/possess the registration for a given vehicle. They apparently didn't get mine when I sloughed off the '98 Civic, too. :P

Yeah just talked to a nice lady over there, it isn't necessary but it's a good idea to send in a Release of Liability form as the registration will remain in my name until the Bug gets resold apparently.
