Spent entirely too much time futzing around this morning, playing with images from the calendar that Alyne was kind enough to give me last night. So now I have at least one fairly good image of myself in my favorite costume.

I'm calling this my "doe-eyed serving girl catalog shot" :)

Aelf, and silkblade, you can find your images in our Group's photos section, or here on LJ in my gallery. I didn't want to link directly to them without your permission, though. Of course they're gorgeous so I expect you'll want to show them off a bit. Hell, I'd make icons, myself ;)

We had a more low key rehearsal last night, which is good 'cause my left arm is just killing me. It's nice to see muscle definition and all, but ow. Thankfully I had ravenmb's bed buddy to heat up and snuggle with last night. It took the edge off enough to get a good night's sleep, for which I was profoundly grateful. I'm still tired, but not nearly as bad as yesterday so I'm easing back off the caffeine, go me!

And I have a midriff again! I mean one that doesn't make me cringe for a change! Now to keep this momentum going after Rakkasah.

Oh, before I forget, does anybody remember if I loaned them my copy of Bellydance Superstars? I can't find the bloody thing and I really want to watch a couple of the routines. I will be very annoyed if I have to go buy it again.

Also, ravenmb, you will be pleased to note that I have been listening to "Unintended" over and over again. That so should have been on my Remus mix. Yes, Muse is definitely growing on me.

Yeah my first thought was Rissy, too. Like the tiger look, reminds me of Buck Rodgers. I've been trying to dye a Lacrosse stick like that but I can't figure out how to make black stripes and keep it mostly orange and white. John

Oh Jesus, Buck Rogers! I hadn't even thought of that! Damn, what the hell was that princess' name anyway? That is too beautiful for words, it really is :)

BTW, should I just go ahead and buy Last Exile if I can find it on eBay? I keep starting to look for it then stopping and thinking, "No, better not."

Uh, thanks, but I should comment that the magic of Photoshop undoubtedly had much to do with that. And the pose was entirely the photographer's idea, though why she picked that one out of all the shots I do not know.

You know, I had it on my Lupin mix as I was working on it, but then I didn't think I could have two songs by two different artists, so I cut it. Ever since then, the song has been haunting me and I find myself humming it when there's no music on. I should stop second guessing myself, honestly.

And glad the bed buddy is coming in handy. :)
