Joining today's meme to wish aelfsciene a happy birthday, though I suspect I'll be doing so again tonight when she arrives.

Have I mentioned lately how much I continue to worship namaah_darling as a writer? No? Well, here's what prompted today's recurring threat to build her an altar:

Okay, scratch that. As suspicions go, this is about as sneaky as a Ninja with Tourette's wearing an outfit made solely out of hot pink keychains.

That mental image alone could get me through even the worst of times with a smile on my face.

Dinner with elo_sf was splendid last night and I had the best burrito ever created in the history of wrapped Mexican food. Even E- was in awe of it. Only the certainty that I'd pay (oh god how I'd pay) for all that cheesey goodness made me stop. Yum! Then we headed for BookBuyers so he could procure copies of Twelfth Night and we parted with hugs and promises to try and do this sort of thing more often. Made it home in time for the Daily Show and nearly broke something laughing. I love it when Stephen Colbert manages to break Jon so thoroughly that the latter can't even look at him. Stephen always gets this twinkle in his eyes when he knows he's caused Jon to lose it, the man just eats it up. And the shoutout to Atrios of Eschaton was sweet. And Ted Hitler...oh sweet lord.

What can I say about Alan Cumming except that my love for him grows by the day? It is, of necessity, a platonic love, but still... "Cumming the Fragrance" indeed, though my personal favorites were the body lotion "Cumming All Over" and the candles "Cumming in the Air". Love this man, love him to death!

I need to read some smut this weekend, preferably either Snupin or BSG smut definitely involving Starbuck, my new pretend t.v. girlfriend.

I missed seeing Stephen/Ted again last night, but had to watch part of the Cumming interview. I will need some of that body creme. ^_^

Speaking of, today I'm going to use the Swashbuckler creme and Melusine soap. I was going to bring the Melusine soap along this weekend, but the bar's too big to fit into my soapdish, alas. Thank you again!
