Hm, ya think? There are four major Spiderman villains: Green Goblin (dead in the first one), Doc Ock (dead in the second one), Hobgoblin (appearing in both movies but not yet transferred to the Dark Side), and Venom. It only makes sense that Venom would be the next one so that the whole Peter/Harry relationship has more time to fester, and for Harry to flip himself to being Hobgoblin, since he now knows about his father's little secret.

Harry isn't the Hobgoblin. He was the second Green Goblin.

It'll be interesting how they try to wedge Venom in the movies with how much history and storyline was needed to get Brock and the Symbiote together.

Don't get me wrong. I'd love seeing Venom as a villian in the movies but damned will they have to rape canon HARD and lubeless to bring him in for the NEXT movie.
