Apparently I missed Rene Auberjonois on Boston Legal last night *grumble*
On the other hand I did find a new anime series I'm quickly becoming obsessed with, R.O.D. the TV, the Paper Sisters kick ass, and I swear the one voicing Maggie in the English dubbed version is the same chick who does Raven in Teen Titans. I'm going to miss at least 4 episodes of it this week so I may just have to rent the whole thing, assuming I can find it. Also caught this one hour Tenchi flick (they didn't bother translating the title so I have no clue what it's called) about a malevolent demon, a girl clone of Tenchi (who, of course also falls in love with him), and yet another princess of Jurai getting kidnapped and eventually rescued.
Overall it was, "eh", but did have at least one memorable moment. Tenchi actually hauls off and slaps Ryoko (in slo-mo even). My response was a furious, "Oh no you didn't!" I was hoping that this would finally knock some sense into her and inspire my favorite space pirate to kick his adolescent ass all the way to Osaka. Alas, it was not to be. I try not to be judgemental about her infatuation with him, but jesus it's not like he's even attractive!
Gah, romance. I like to think that even I, stupid as love has been known to make me, would not tolerate getting actually hit by a guy. And that I also wouldn't fall for the, "Oh I didn't mean to hurt you, it'll never happen again" schtick, but sometimes I wonder.
Yes, I know, what an exciting life I must lead if I'm actually sitting around thinking about anime relationships. On the plus side it does give me time to do a lot of sewing...

However, watching a subbed anime series while sewing (which is this weekend's only pursuit) is that too easy. Oh, I got the little coins last night and can get more if we need them from E- before Saturday even. I think if we modify the fish-scale pattern using at least one row of the big coins we should be good on the small ones, though.
And before I forget, Flamenco girl's name is Kathleen. :)
