Jun. 10th, 2010 07:24 pmFor the past week or so Kage hasn't been doing so well. Her appetite dried up and then she started shedding a bit of weight and finally she had trouble getting far enough in her litterbox to not spray urine all over the floor. My first thought, "Oh no, just in time for my birthday..."
Then this morning she came hopping into my bedroom, insisted on climbing up into Lola's litterbox, and demanded pettings. She had a good dinner tonight and just now...started chasing her tail. My response was a delighted, "Just in time for my birthday!"
Not, of course, that I think her health has anything to do with me, at least not directly. But it's amazing what that little girl's well being can do for my mood. The better she does the happier I am, and seeing her all perky and happy today was the best gift I could receive this year.
Something else making me happy today is the Tony Stark blacksmithing in a cave wallpaper I have up on my computer currently. I'm considering putting it on my iPod Touch as well just so I can stare at it longer. Sad, sad I know. But speaking of which,
windrose, remember that Atlantis/Iron Man crossover I mentioned to you after the movie? You can find it here: Unconventional Heroism, read it, you will enjoy it.
Also Iron Man 2 left
moonlightnrain and I wondering just what had gone on off-screen that made Pepper and Natalie so happy to work together shortly after their blow up at the party. Of course this led us to theorizing on what made the gals so...chummy, and as if often does, led us to put together a little fanfic (warning, girl/girl, just in case):
