Feb. 19th, 2010 09:18 pmI now know two important things:
1) Hachi still possesses the street smarts of a feral cat, despite making some serious strides towards domestication. Case in point, as soon as I prepared her medication the other morning she took off like a shot and avoided all attempts to grab her with the wile and cunning of your average coyote. I finally managed it and after two tries got the meds down her. All I can say is thank god it was liquid and please don't let her get sick/injured until she's out of my care.
2) The local PBS channel, KTEH, is well nigh perfect. Not only does it play "The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes" constantly, but on Friday nights they play it back to back with "Life on Mars".
On another note I appear to have caught the head cold/bronchitis version of the bug that's been going around...which is infinitely superior to the vomiting/diarrhea version. If you are local and loathe to be exposed to said bug please feel free to politely decline any invitations I might extend. I won't be the least bit offended, promise.
