May. 21st, 2009 05:29 pmSeveral quick things, first my sisters are here from NY and so far we're all having a great time. We had a lovely time at dinner last night and then we, Aelf and
moonlightnrain went to see Star Trek again in IMAX.
This brings me to my second point, I noticed some little details this time around that I'd missed the first. For instance did anybody else catch the caged tribbles on Scotty's desk? I had to excitedly point them out to Aelf and revel in my geek-itude.
Thirdly we're thinking of a breakfast with my sisters at Baji's on Sunday morning, if this sounds good to you let me know and I'll include you on the email regarding it. Also I mentioned to the sisters that the Stanford's playing a double feature of Rio Bravo (one of my favorite westerns) and The Man Who Shot Liberty Valence (my sister's fave) on Sunday as well. I'm thinking we're going to end up seeing both, I've never done a double feature there before so it sounds like fun.
And finally I am apparently buying a house. I sign some paperwork to get the process started tomorrow and we're talking about closing by the end of June. I'm both nervous and excited about this. I've got buttloads of work to do over the next few weeks including packing my current place up. So not looking forward to moving again, but it will be awfully nice to think that once I get this move done I won't have to do so again for a good long time.
