Yep, that's right, kids. This season's production schedule of Middleman has been truncated from 13 episodes to 12 episodes. But wait! That's not all! If you don't throw a hissy-fit, now, ABC Family will strongly consider canceling the show because it isn't pulling the numbers KyleXY did...
In typical network timing, this comes just when it was starting to gain some traction...
I would like to say this comes as something of a surprise, but I was commenting in email tojakejr earlier that I had a wicked bad feeling about Middleman because it was on an ABC affiliate and I still remember all too clearly what they did to Cupid. They hung the show out to dry, didn't bother to promote it, moved it to a terrible time then cut the season from 12 episodes to 13 (number 13 never aired in the U.S., though I, of course, possess it).
History, as they say, repeats itself.
