(no subject)

Today's a fairly good day in that I found and applied to several positions, one of which might even be a decent fit for my skill set. Even sent my resume in for some freelance proof reading (only a few hours work, but what the hell, it'd cover groceries for a week or two). Still hearing absolutely nothing back. I'm thinking of calling the place back that called me for an interview then promptly seems to have forgotten my existence. Is there some sort of rule about that? I mean like the whole wait two days after going out on a date with someone to call them back?

God I really, really need some good news on the job front right now.

Also have a bunch of paperwork to fill out regarding getting my vacation time paid from Bonus. It's a fair chunk of cash so I'm totally doing it. Apparently Lenscrafters recently also lost a lawsuit and I'm entitled to $30 from that too. Hey, more groceries right there! I'd still rather have a job but I'll take what I can get at this point.

Aside from that not too much to report. Packing is going well and I think I could have the vast majority of it done by this weekend. That includes taking down all of my art and repairing any holes in the walls. That'll just leave the daily necessities to finish up with once I've got an actual date for the move. At least I'm feeling productive on that front.
