Apr. 1st, 2008 10:11 amSo I had my interview up in the city yesterday at another recruiter that specializes in the creative types. It was another one of those interviews where I feel like I came away knowing more about the interviewer than they do about me. And sadly the job which seemed so perfect is the same one I'd already applied for because, well, it seemed so damn perfect. On the plus side, from what she said, the other guy I'd already applied to (and never heard back from) has passed the hiring assignment on to someone new so maybe I'll have a second chance. We shall see. The recruiter said she thought they'd have an answer for me by the end of the week. I've resolved that if I don't get this position (or at least an interview with the actual company), I'm going to look into freelance work.
It's not really a matter of choice at this point, the money is dwindling and I'm getting antsy. Beyond that I've gotten a sum total of one unemployment check so far. And of course my car needs maintenance, also I've chipped another tooth. Yeah, when it rains it pours
Today I'm focusing on the job hunt and cleaning my apartment as they're doing inspections tomorrow. That means I've got to get the hell out, which is a good thing, too many days in a row in this place and I turn into Daniel in today's icon.
