Yeah, right, that baby is so mine! Though I think I'll pre-order it on Amazon as it's released May 3 and is like $7 less there.
A big thank you to On Demand for bringing me one episode closer to the full Venture Brothers first season. "Mid-Life Chrysalis" cemented for me the fact that Dr. Girlfriend is definitely my favorite character, I adore her. I need an icon, preferably one of her in the little pink Monarch themed lingerie looking annoyed :)
People's Choice Bellydance awards tomorrow, a full day of dance performances to watch and hopefully get ideas from. And of course I'll be cheering on the troupe as they perform. It'll be weird to watch it from the audience, but also something of a relief. I'm curious to see it performed live rather than just watching it on a recording.

cyranocyrano, I've missed going up to the city and having an afternoon of enjoyable company up there while watching a brand new musical based on the songs of John Lennon sounds like heaven. I've also very much missed musical theater, which may explain my impulse buy above :)
My impulse buy last week, a fantastic book on Wiccan spiritual tradition called "The Circle Within" continues to impress me. It was a book that came into my life just when I needed it, and it's addressing all those questions about my religion that have been nagging at me for months. It's not trying to answer them, rather, encouraging me to really focus on them and stop being so distracted by the mundane world. It's all I can do most nights to put it down and go to bed, though I keep pondering it even when I'm not reading it.
