So, it is to be war between us?

kuro_necko posted this link to a pagan/Greek version of those idiotic psycho fundie pamphlets that made me laugh a lot. "It's off to Tartarus with you!"
I got home in time from dinner last night with E- to catch most of the Daily Show and I'm going to be utterly shocked if nobody's purchased the domain "confirmationvixens.com". My god I haven't laughed so hard in a long time. And I got a little nervous when Jon introduced his interview guest as an "evangelical Christian", was the man there to rail against the evils of liberals. To my utter shock he was an intelligent, articulate, wonderfully open-minded man who actually read what Jesus had to say on a variety of topics, understood it, and tried to live by those teachings. What a concept. He repeatedly asked why anyone would believe that Jesus favored the rich, or would have supported a war, or was apparently only interested in the subjects of abortion and gay marriage. He seemed determined to reclaim Christianity from the hardliners who were apparently a bit rusty on the whole Bible thing and all I can say is that I wish him the very best of luck.
Thought I'd post something positive on a day most of us would probably rather forget.
