Crazy person alert
Nov. 24th, 2004 08:18 amI spent most of yesterday telling myself that while I had to go to rehearsal last night that did not mean I had to dance because I'm sick and should be smart and take it easy for once. In my own defense I can say that I only danced the entire set once. I look on that as an accomplishment of sorts.
Everyone turned up and my group came up with a way to position ourselves so that everyone could be seen throughout. My team also spent most of the night giggling and joking with each other, I'm so happy I ended up with the folks I did, we're just determined to have a good time no matter what.
E- was able to make it and not feeling even slightly queasy for a change which was lovely. She also commented about her dad's xmas party and how she'd be going there after the performance on Dec. 4. When she said that it would be really cool if we could dance there too we all immediately volunteered to do so. Two performances on the same night, it's mad, MAD! But it will also be a lot of fun and it's just over by the Great Mall so no biggie.
Got home on time for a change and drugged myself to sleep, which I very much needed. Feeling a great deal better today, thank goodness, though whatever this is seems to have settled into my lungs and throat. As long as I can think clearly that's perfectly all right.
Debating stopping at Target tonight on the way home to pick up some essentials and possibly PoA, but I'm not sure I want to face that store the day before Thanksgiving. I think of the boss let's us go home early I might chance it for Remus goodness.
