Dear gods but this is a great icon!

I really must watch the movie again soon-ish.

Oh and for those in search of great HP: PoA pics, look no farther:

Mmm, yummy.

I was bad yesterday and splurged on a used copy of the original Golden Sun. It's been ages since I could sink my teeth into a good GBA game so I figure I'm due. It also gave me the perfect excuse to update my Paypal information so I think aside from the DMV and my Nation subscription I'm all good.

Zoomed home early yesterday and did some puttering around the apartment and spoiling of the cats before heading out to class. The cute girl in class is apparently named "Tiffany", but I'm willing to overlook that :) My flirting may be paying off as when Alyne told us to pair up she immediately ran over to me. We made faces at each other while dancing face to face and somehow managed not to collide so that was good. Then I asked Alyne if I could stay a bit later and run the Goddess choreography, she enthusiastically agreed. After a false start wherein I forgot a rather important move, we ran it through flawlessly...and T- stayed to watch *le sigh*

I felt totally out of control, but S- assured me I didn't look like I was so I guess I'm not quite as rusty as I'd feared. Still, I need to practice more. Much more. And I agreed to do a solo piece at the next Straw Hat (probably Goddess) so that'll give me the necessary impetus.

I'm beginning to think it might be worth my while to take a half day on Friday to give me more time to get stuff done at the house for the yardsale. May get a bit done tonight, but I suspect after I finish mowing and watering the lawn I'm going to have very little energy left. Particularly as I just couldn't sleep last night. Usually class knocks me right out, but I was too achy and stressed about the weekend. But at least this weekend marks the official end of the move so it's something to look forward to anyway.

TV critics vote for merit, message:

Only television critics, for instance, would have conferred this year's prize for outstanding news and information programming to Comedy Central's "The Daily Show" — vaulting it over rivals like PBS' "Frontline" and ABC's "Nightline."

It was a decision made on both merit and message. As my cross-town rival, Melanie McFarland of the Post-Intelligencer, said when presenting the award, at a time when the mainstream media seem cowed, Jon Stewart and company embody "a core of truth."

Sweet. :)
