"I myself am strange and unusual."
Sep. 16th, 2003 08:59 amI have discovered a new hobby (yes, I know, just what I need), but hear me out. I water my back lawn and plants each evening and have noticed a resurgence in the snail population attacking my babies on the north side of the house. Unacceptable. So now I turn the water pressure way up and narrow the stream from the hose and spray the little buggers off of whatever they're attached to. It's long distance, no muss, no fuss.
Got a new mix from my sister
divine_debris from before she left for London. Great mix with some truly fun tunes. I kept playing "Americano" and "I Have Not Been to Oxford Town" on the way home from class last night and bopping around in my car. Made it through the rest of the cd this morning and
cyranocyrano I think you'd really get a kick out of it.
Class was great, as per usual, and I got to lead the choreographies while we taped the dancing for one of the girls who'd requested it to help her learn them. I always feel like I kind of know what I'm doing, but that I look like shit doing it, but I was pleasantly surprised when we watched the tape. I may not know exactly what I'm doing, but I seem to be able to fake it well and that's something.
I'm so looking forward to seeing the Violent Femmes Thursday evening, but I'm beginning to regret not getting the Radiohead ticket. They played "Karma Police" on the radio yesterday and I just whimpered. I want to see them live again, dammit. *sigh* Ah well, maybe next year.
Oh and I'm considering seeing "Underworld" on Friday, probably a matinee as I'll be taking the day off.
