This is frighteningly on target:

If you're currently involved romantically, dear Gemini, don't be surprised if your significant other feels especially sensual and passionate, and wants nothing more than an intimate evening alone with you. You, however, might be tired and want nothing more than to crash on the bed and sleep. There may seem to be no resolving this without one person being less than happy. Try to talk it out. If you're single - no problem! Get some sleep!

I know lots of folks don't believe in the horoscope "hocus-pocus", but sometimes I start to wonder if there isn't something to reading the future in the stars. I'm currently running on about 4 1/2 hours of sleep, no caffeine, just me, a bottle of water and my LJ. I predict some sort of crash and burn by about noon.

The scarier thing is all the fatigue is so worth it for the lovely evening I got to enjoy last night. Thank you [livejournal.com profile] cyranocyrano, [livejournal.com profile] tersa, and [livejournal.com profile] princessmei for inviting me over and for being "social", I thoroughly enjoyed myself and getting to talk and listen to all of your stories and witticisms was my idea of heaven. Who needs things like love and sex when you've got cool friends and fantastic conversation? And no, I'm not being sarcastic, I'm a Gemini, we communicate.

There were many tarot readings done last night and I got one of the most on target and optimistic readings I've had in a while. I love when others do readings for me, they're far more objective and far less likely to read negative meanings where there aren't any. A refreshingly positive reading on the personal front is a welcome and much appreciated gift and I'm deeply thankful for it.

After the others had toddled off to bed [livejournal.com profile] princessmei and I stood outside and talked until about 12:30 in the morning. This indicates to me that we need to see one another more often as we clearly have far too much to discuss in the allotted time we get every few weeks *G* Thankfully I'll be taking classes with her again, thus giving me lots of face time per week, hooray!

So next week should be my first big paycheck plus, possibly, the retroactive portion of my raise. If this is so and I'm utterly rolling in dough by then I plan to pick up a CD-RW for my desktop. Does anyone have a particular brand or model they would recommend? I'm also looking for fairly stable dubbing software for a PC, again recommendations are very welcome.

I'm also pondering some silk veils. I like this quite a bit, purples and blues are definitely favorites of mine and they'd match quite a few pieces in my dance wardrobe. If I'm going to be learning double veils I should have a set that really look and move well, and silk moves like sin itself. The temptation is very strong. The only thing holding me back is the fact that there will be a big belly dance festival in San Jose in September (http://www.desertdance.com/ddfaqs.htm) and I might find something there I like even better. Hmmm.

Oh and I'm pretty sure I'm hitting Chinatown on Saturday evening for the big festival there, if anyone is planning to go or would like to tag along please let me know!

Crunches: Yeah, right, I got in at 1 in the morning!
Overall health: Reasonably good, though I'm starting to sink down into my seat...
