Intermingling Energies

Had to use that one for my subject line because it was such an incomprehensible explanation for why the conductor on our train didn't feel the need to turn off the AC and/or turn on some heat last night. I think windrose and mister_sunshine will get a kick out of that one, and gods know I'm going to be singing "Poor, Unfortunate Souls" for days to come.

The weekend was delightful, despite not getting to play Half Life on Saturday. Ah well, I'll have to save that killing spree for a later date. Emily's party was delightful, though, and "Urban Family Dog" kicked serious ass. The guys seemed really cool too, and getting to talk to jimweasel and technocowboy face to face was wonderful. Sometimes I forget that people actually do exist in the flesh and not just in their virtual existence. }:)

I got to dance and have fun and chat and laugh and it was all very, very good.

Sunday windrose, mister_sunshine and I went up to the city to hit Good Vibrations and then Chinatown. I love shopping with Sue, she goes to buy things whereas I generally just go to look. It's just easier on my bank account, you see. But having someone with disposable income around who's easily persuaded to buy things is enjoyable. I can spend vicariously through her *G*

Oh and Friday night I did a nice little ritual, nothing fancy, but fulfilling and calming in a lot of ways. I used the rosebuds I'd saved from the flowers John sent me to decorate my entire altar with them and it actually looks pretty damn cool. I will try to take a pic or two before I'm forced to pack the whole kit-n-kaboodle up. Mmm, roses, we may need to plant some of those in the yard once we get moved.

Ugh, must get keys, must claim house!!!!
