There's no "A" in "Mercy"
Apr. 18th, 2002 09:14 amSubject line stolen directly from an Oakland A's commercial that ran last night during the Sharks/Coyotes game. I actually laughed aloud for a good 30 seconds after reading it. Nicely done. And a lovely hockey game last
evening, though I wished for more from the Ricci line. That man needs a goal, but what's more, he deserves one. Nice to see Vinnie score, and Marleau had, without a question, the most hilarious goal I've seen all season. Note to Burke, when Selanne and Marleau are out on the ice you might really want to stay in the goal rather than behind it...just a thought.
So I think John's coming back out to visit at the beginning of June which will be nice, though I'm not convinced that will give me enough time to become proficient enough at basketball again to give him a run for his money in a one-on-one game. If I could just get my outside shot back I'd at least have a chance. We shall see. Then my sis and neice are coming out at the end of June, and my mom the beginning of August, so it'll be a pretty busy summer.
I also need to settle on the whole white water rafting concept and get reservations made at some point. And then there's the question of where I want to live when my lease is up in August. I want a house, on this point I'm quite firm and decided. I want a yard (doesn't have to be huge) and two levels, minimum. I want to start the process in motion soon so I can spend most of July just packing and getting organized, and maybe moved too. I hate waiting until the last minute. The question is, though, will I be able to do this and stay in the area. I like a ten minute commute very, very much.
