So the backache is back down to a sort of sore, constant but not overwhelming sensation and my legs seem to want to function normally again today which is a good thing. I'm walking today at lunch and then going home to apply my newly acquired ice pack. By this weekend I should be quite recovered (I hope).

I haven't let the back pain get in the way of my crunches, though, and am sticking to them with a sort of pseudo-religious fervor. I will have a toned abdomen, the gods as my witness, I will have a bare-able midriff! Though with this week off from class completely I'm going to be so incredibly rusty next week. Blah.

But on an up note, as the princess never showed up last night the lovely tersa stayed and kept me company through part of Zefferelli's "Romeo and Juliet", then my newly acquired version of "Crying Freeman". We both bemoaned the fact that we're going to be making afghans for roughly the next decade just to get out of the hole on all the ones we owe people. Still, it does keep us busy and relatively out of trouble.

Otherwise I had a nice relaxing evening and spoke briefly to h0h0 and my friend from back home, John. The latter is apparently sending me a basketball and basketball sneakers in the hopes that I'll allow him to pummel me in a game of one-on-one when he gets back out here. We shall see. Also called and talked to my sis and wished my neice a happy birthday. Apparently the mini karaoke machine I got her was a big hit. Can't wait 'til she comes out here and I can spoil her absolutely rotten for a few days. I have so many plans, heh, heh.

Wow, I have a Tuesday night of my very own, whatever will I do with myself? Oh and a Friday night free, what is this world coming to?

Must...make...plans, otherwise I'm quite convinced I'll go into some sort of catatonic state...or else have a really clean apartment.

After my current organizational efforts for the Uber-Secret-Brad-Charity-Auction, this Onion article really struck a chord:

The "to do" list nearly killed me.
