Long time no post

ebonlockSee what happens when I get too much time off? I completely lose track of my email and LiveJournal posts. Bad Ellie. Ah well, I've had a great vacation so far, a nice time with the family last week, and a fabulous NYE party last night. And oh what lovely, generous friends I have, you all have been way too good to me this year.
A big thanks to everyone, my sisters were incredibly sweet and gave me the most fantastic gifts. I love my bedazzled snake and Frodo in Orc armor, as well as my lovely new jacket. And that Frodo print from the ROTK exhibit...be still my heart! I had a great time framing that one and displaying it last night. And so many Sherlock Holmes goodies, hee!
And my wonderful friends, the One Ring cross stitch is currently sitting right in front of me on my computer desk as I type, it's gorgeous. Can't wait to play the LOTR trivial pursuit game! Oh and the slave bracelets perfectly match my peacock bedleh! I now have more action figures than you can shake a stick at, and I believe all of the Frodos thanks to my lovely roommate. Lots o' DVDs I've been coveting, including three seasons of DS9 (J- you always spend way too much money on me, man), a Sarah Brightman concert, and several movies I love. A subscription to "The Nation", woot! The TTT poster of Frodo I needed (yes, needed), a beautiful new purse straight from Austria, and the ROTK video game! And CDs, CDs, CDs! I've made it through about half of my haul so far, two more mixes from my sis to go *G*
