Just talked to the vet, Kage will be staying there until at least Monday at this point. Her fever's down from 105 to 104 but the vet wants to see more improvement and to see her eating before he'll let her go home. I don't disagree with him and like the fact that he's cautious and aggressive in her treatment. She's currently on two kinds of antibiotics and they're rehydrating her via IV, her bloodwork also came back looking good, no major organs are involved and her kidneys and liver look good. So it seems to be an intestinal bacterial infection that she's having trouble fighting off. The news could've been much worse so I'm counting my blessings at this point.
