So I'm thinking about buying an iPod Touch for several reasons. One the battery on my Nano is becoming profoundly unreliable, two I'd love more space for podcasts as I've been listening to an incredible number of them recently. Seriously, the history casts alone, not to mention the Buddhist dharma talks keep me endlessly entertained and informed. Three, budget allowing I'm hoping to do some traveling next year and it would be great to have one before then.

I'll ponder that.

Also the charity special on ABDC is awesome. JabbawockeeZ is every bit as amazing as I'd been led to believe, but Quest Crew absolutely blew me away. I mean an incredibly inventive hip-hop routine to hot swing music is generally enough to get my attention and they did it well. I'll probably have to post that one when I find it.

I just got an iPod Touch a couple weeks ago and I love it to pieces.

If you get one, I suggest also getting AppleCare. My (1st generation) iPod Touch had a button failure at the 18 month mark. With AppleCare, they swiftly replaced it at the Apple Store.

I usually bring a camcorder to lessons, so the Touch has been the ideal device for me for reviewing video summaries of dance lessons and choreography during practice and training.

I suspect you will enjoy the Touch, one thought there may be new hardware imminently (June timeframe).

Now new product is always a possibility with high tech, but if you can hold out a month or so it might be worth it.

then, yeah wait a bit since you can get the one with the new iPhone OS 4 and other goodies. If it doesn't come out by June (or get announced) then you can just buy the current one then.

This weekend is utterly shot for me, but I think Erik mentioned trying to do DW again next Tuesday, otherwise I don't currently have plans for that following weekend. Would either work for you?
