For the...uh, one of you who cares I'm happy to report that given that the two finalists were Poreotix and BluPrint Cru I couldn't be too disappointed by the result. I'd reached the "Anybody but Hype 5.0" point weeks ago so seeing them go away last episode left me relieved and happy no matter who won.

And yeah as it was left up to the viewers it isn't too surprising that Poreotix pulled out a win as they're huge fan faves. Still it was nice to hear that the voting was the closest ever. Yeah I would've been over the moon for BPC as they've been my faves all season, but if anybody had to beat them...

Anyway, in honor of the finale I'll post my favorite choreographies from the winner and runner up:

So I'm going to "live blog" this as I'm watching it (much later than you), because I have nobody to react to otherwise (and no, I haven't read your post yet):

I really quite liked the West performance, Hype and all. Poreotix's bit was really cute, in particular.

Oh, I miss Static Noyze. And oh, Saltare, you poor bastards. "Hot Mess," indeed.

The South was pretty fun, overall; I still like Swagger Crew a lot, and Raqi, well, rocks my world.

Holy shit, live drums for the finalist performance, that's pretty awesome. Though the shouting sections was a little weird. Still, overall great, and no, I won't be unhappy with either crew's win, although I definitely like Blueprint best.

I will always giggle when they call that one dude Jet Li, although yeah, he sure does look like him. After the "what the judges think" segment, I still can't decide who took it, though now I'm wishing I'd tried voting every day, since it came down so close.

Also, every time they say "Live Finale!" and come back to crews in entirely different outfits, it just makes me laugh, since there's no way this was filmed in one go, over just the hour it aired.

And eh, yeah, like I'd figured it would end up, Poreotix. I did fairly consistently like them, at least, and they really did a great job in last week's performances. Blueprint was my favorite throughout the competition, and I still wish they'd won, but eh, not surprised.

Though the most hilarious thing I've seen in awhile is that the trophy is a BOBBLEHEAD (bobblehip?), oh my god. Ok, reading your post now. I think I'd pick, oh, whatever last week's performance was as my favorite Poreotix, but yeah, what you said. ^_^
