No matter where you go, there you are...
May. 9th, 2003 08:54 amJust received this from my sis, Leah:
I thought you might find this rather funny...
Larissa had her first day on the new job today at the
University. So she decides to take a bit of a break
and saunter up to the coffee beacon known as "The
People's Place" in Hendrick's Chapel. As she's
entering someone calls out "Hello Leah, how are you?"
when she turns to let the interloper in on her true
identity it is none other than Peter Weller! Needless
to say she was gobsmacked and merely answered that she
was doing very well, he then went on to compliment the
coffee at the Peoples Place and wish her a good day.
This phenomena never fails to astonish me. I mean I think there's a definite resemblance between my sisters and I, but not that much. And Larissa looks much more like me than she does Leah. None of us even has the same colored hair...I just don't get it.
Anyway, in other news, Aelf and I seem to have worked out a duet choreography last evening that we think will work. We haven't run the whole thing so it's purely speculative at this point, but we believe we've left enough room and time to get from one effect to the next. Took me a few minutes to get used to my chiffon veils again after using the others, and I'm wondering if that sensation of weirdness is always going to be there depending on which set I'm using. I'd like to think that the day will come when I can pick up any veils and use them like they were a part of my body, but I fear that's wishful thinking.
Lots to do this weekend, lots to do next week too. If I fall off the radar screen soon it's just cause I'm trying to get caught up, feel free to give me a poke if I don't respond immediately.

Date: 2003-05-09 12:15 pm (UTC)I guess in my mind Leah and Rissy are SOOO different that I never confuse one for the other, but I guess you all share a somewhat common body shape, sort of, if tall white girl is a body shape. I t never fails to amaze me though that people can't tell Rissy and Leah apart but then again people confuse my brother and me and while its obvious that we're brothers we look very different if looked at together, so it just goes to prove people don't pay attention to whats real, they accept whats on the surface.

Date: 2003-05-10 12:52 pm (UTC)It's amazing how often they get asked if they are twins...but really, if Mr. Weller can't tell them apart just think of all the insane pranks they can pull on him in the future.
Good thing he's Robocop.
