ebonlockI think I have my costume squared away for tomorrow, though I'm increasingly displeased with the skirt. I may tear it apart and re do it as a tie-skirt rather than using elastic, I just think it'll look better. As I'm currently retaining a few extra gallons of water it won't really matter, though, I'm going to look like shit no matter what I wear and I've made peace with that. One has to be Zen about these kinds of things.
Burned some more DDF mixes for class tonight, which I'm attending in the hopes that we'll be rehearsing for tomorrow night's performance. With Alyne, though, it's hard to say. She likes to do sort off-the-cuff performances. Me, I like planning, I like knowing where I should be and when and what to do when I get there. I am also trying to be Zen about this...I will bend like the reed, or something.
I got to see "Below" last night, a ghost story set on a WWII submarine, and I highly recommend it. Thankfully it doesn't resort to a lot of cheap scares, rather treats its audience like thoughtful adults. That's something I've really learned to appreciate in the genre. They're playing the film pretty much continuously on the Action channels, so check it out if you get the chance.
Also took some time to do something I haven't done in a long while, namely sit myself down and read some tremendously good and hot smut. I picked the most out there, perverse pieces I could find and reveled in it. You know you've stumbled upon the good stuff when you finish a story and find that your cheeks are warm and flushed, heh. I need to make the time to do this more often :)
And I cannot quite understand how it is that I own neither of the Addams Family movies. I must rectify this immediately.

I'm just debating color scheme at this point, may go dark with a little tribal edge as it's going to be all cabaret all the time for me soon.
