ebonlock: (My Ring)
I got to see HP:PoA on Saturday and thoroughly enjoyed it. Though I had to ask myself why the hell the first two couldn't have been done half as well as this one. I could've been enjoying the entire series rather than just the one film. *grumble* Still, a rather small complaint all things considered. Found myself getting a bit googly over Lupin, it's that tweedy, tormented, slightly nerdy English professor schtick that does me in. Didn't effect me in the book, but the actor really worked for me.

And it's wrong to find Ron hot, isn't it? Yeah, I'm sure it is.

Anyway, if you haven't seen it yet you really should, it's far and away the best of the series and a film I'd happily go see again. In the meantime I'll amuse myself by re-reading the book again. Oh, and [livejournal.com profile] tersa, that was "A Brief History of Time" being read in the Leaky Cauldron, which made me giggle.

Gods I want my endurance back. There was a time I could've easily mowed the back lawn and weed whacked both front and back. Now I have to seperate the tasks into two seperate days. Still, my yards look dead sexy at present. I'm hoping to only have to do the latter task once more before we move, though weekly mowing (at least out front) is a necessity.

God some packing done and my bedroom looks quite barren. This is a good thing.

Also Aelf and I got started on "Firefly" last night. I'm trying to get into the series, I truly am. I find my overall reaction to be "Yeah, I'd probably watch it if I were home the night it aired on t.v. but I wouldn't go out of my way to see it." By the third episode I'd stopped actively hating the captain, though that Kayleigh chick needs to die, and she can take the minister guy out with her. That would leave more time for Gina Torres, *woot*!
