The last homely house east of the sea
Dec. 11th, 2003 08:58 amSpent a good portion of last night coming up with trivia questions for our Trilogy Tuesday line party contest. Wanted to make sure there wasn't anything spoilery amongst them, and a good mix of reasonably easy and pretty fucking hard questions. I then passed the notebook over to Aelf who came up with an additional 10 questions bringing us up to 21, I think about 4 more should do it. Man have we got some good prizes, everyone's been incredibly generous. And we found out that all line party members are eligible to win an incredible LOTR chess set, very cool.
Aside from that I did a little crafting and then we watched more special features on the TT EE, costumes and weapons galore, not to mention close looks at some of the sets (particularly Meduseld). Damn...just damn. I love these movies more and more every day, and the last one is coming up so soon. I both want to see it *now* and at the same time want to prolong the anticipation for a bit longer. I don't want it to end! Still, at least Pete's pretty much confirmed he's doing "The Hobbit" so that's something.
Attending the hafla at B-'s this weekend but I'm entirely "eh" about dancing in it. I think it's mostly having my energy scattered so much right now. I'm focused on ROTK, the line party, the last gift that should've been here weeks ago and is still on backorder, my parents arriving in well under a week and a half, etc. I'm really looking forward to January and a return to sanity and dance focus.
I'm also going to start doing some serious stuff purging in January, in anticipation of holding a yard sale as soon as the weather gets nice. I've got so much to unload before we move next summer, and the sooner it's gone the better.
Oh and does anybody know of a place where I can get some reasonably priced framing done? Nothing fancy, just want to protect my LOTR and D&D posters from harm and actually display them. Any suggestions greatly appreciated.
