Happy Lammas to all my pagan buddies out there. It's First Harvest so if any of ya'll are on a diet (or have adopted an "eat less move more" lifestyle like me), you're probably going to have a tough time of it today. I know my inner heathen is screaming, "Eat, drink, and be merry!" Considering that I've decided calories don't count today, the gods won't allow them to.

Damn fine workout last night and everything from the waist down feels pleasantly tired and just a teeny bit stiff. Yay for working out hips, buns, and legs, where lord knows I need it most. I'm thinking that reinstating at least one night a week of both beginners and intermediate dance class is a good thing. The first class gets you well warmed up and the heart pumping, then you're looser and ready for the intensity of class two.

My coworker I- showed up and seemed to have a grand time, I may have made another convert *G* Then we had most of the usual gang, [livejournal.com profile] caredhel, [livejournal.com profile] esmerel, and us. Missed [livejournal.com profile] eilonwey and [livejournal.com profile] silkblade, wherefore art thou? Then [livejournal.com profile] xeleste showed up and got to see us stagger gracelessly through what we could recall of the drum solo. Fortunately as a balm to all our egos, Alyne then let us run through "Princess of Cairo" a couple of times so we could all feel accomplished and leave with a smile on our faces.

Had a brief debate with the ladies regarding the ROTK trailer (upon closer inspection of the stills I believe that it is indeed mounted Gandalf and what appears to be a Hobbit riding behind him), before we all said our good nights. Got home and listened to the song [livejournal.com profile] caredhel picked out for a choreography and damn is it good. I can't wait to see what she's got in mind for it!

Weekend objectives:
1) Make time for dance
2) Work on veil solo
3) Finish up Orlando Bloom drawing for [livejournal.com profile] missjones
4) General household chores
5) Do some cooking and have good, nutritious food for lunches next week
6) Volunteer work on Sunday, get to see the kitties!
7) Sleep...a lot

I was realizing this morning it was Lammas! So are you planning anything in particular, food-wise?

Yep, a big treat tonight, sushi! Then I may go home and harvest the rest of my ripened blackberries. Good lord they're yummy!

(Your new icon scares me, BTW)

Mmmm! Sounds yummy! Especially the home-grown blackberries.

I'm just lazy...

My tired, lazy, and wanting-to-see-husband-more-than-I-want-to-go-to-class streak continues.

I think last night was the first time in more than a week that I got enough sleep, and I easily could have slept for another couple of hours. Being chronically fatigued isn't a good way to summon the energy to go to class. :(

Aww, I think Eddie looks very pretty as a fairy *G*

If you want some lemme know, my little vine is being quite productive.

Me too (well, no husband to see that I know about). I think having pretty full weekends the last couple of weeks has worn me out. And those water aerobics classes I started going to on Wednesdays.

If I don't make it next week, I will make an extra special effort to go the week after. :)

Creepy Girl...

Heh, I think I may just be oddly addicted to these silly little quizzes...I had to fight the urge to post yet another on my Live Journal. So I figured I'd just serve one up to you instead.

Larissa and I are working on a new package of earthly delights for you to be shipped out on Monday...

Servo
You are Tom Servo. You're pretty smart, and your
singing voice is quite nice. You have great
self-esteem, but no one knows why, since your
arms don't work and you have no legs.
