Apparently the Monterey Bay Aquarium now has a great white shark on display! She's been doing really well so far and oh gods I've to go down and see her.
Ahhhh...you know I HAD to click it! I don't like that they can keep one in captivity...I like that they are out there lurking in the briney deep not at the local aquarium! Wonder if they'll be able to catch one of those crazy Australian "jumping" sharks...give Shamu a run for his money huh?

Well, as I've just learned I missed the MBARI open house (it was this last Saturday), I don't much care when we go, but I'm definitely up for it whenever! Maybe, hm. Ok, planning might be difficult, but we'll think of something. o.O
