Ooooooommmmmmmmm

I will not panic about the performance tomorrow. I will not panic about the performance tomorrow. I will not panic about the performance tomorrow.
See? I have a new mantra, and as long as I continue to repeat it all will be well.

And, ok, I admit it, I'm thoroughly geeky enough to attend this:
THE RETURN OF THE KING BALL

A Celtic Fantasy Costume Ball
Saturday, February 7, 2004
Location: TBA

PEERS’ annual Celtic Fantasy event is an epic ball of High Fantasy inspired by the final book of J.R.R. Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings. Humans, hobbits, dwarves, elves, wizards, Dark Lords, warriors, shield maidens and fair ladies from any part of Middle Earth are welcome to attend and help create the evening’s magic...

Well I had been considering an Eowyn costume anyway...

Class last night: $10
Cover for tomorrow's hafla: $3
Getting the Choukraine choreography correct on our first try: Priceless

Tonight there will be pizza and dancing girls, oh and cheesey bread too. Anyone wishing to share table space, we'll probably be at Straw Hat somewhere between 7 and 7:30, and hopefully seated right up front.

Yeah, I think I posted about that a few days ago, I'm not sure what to think yet. Let me see who gets cast and hear the soundtrack, and then I'll make up my mind. Could be horrible, but then again, it might just work, ya never know.

I think I'd be interested in the Celtic Fantasy ball. Especially if I get off my damn ass and finally buy that leine from Chivalry Sports... :)

ooh!

Oh, I'm so up for that ME ball, that's great! I don't remember if they had one this year, but last year's was pretty fun with my pseudo-Legolas costume. Maybe we should do the dueling Eowyns for this, instead of Halloween?

Hey, do you know *when* tomorrow you guys are performing? Chrisber wants to come see you (as do I) but the earliest he could get there is 6pm. (Can't watch-- gaming.) Would that be too late? Would they still let us in? Inquiring minds want to know!

Yes you can still get in, but we're hoping to do our double veil piece earlier than that if possible, if we can we're signing up first. However we will be dancing with Alyne (Choukraine) at some other point, so you might be able to catch that one.

Of course, if we were requested to dance at say, an upcoming party or bar-b-que, I'm betting the troupe would probably say yes...*G*

Say, it just occurred to me, do you think your troop would be willing to dance at our pirate barbeque? *grin*

Why what a delightful surprise! I'll pass along your request to the ladies and see what we can come up with. }:)

OH GOD YES YES YES

And you were wonderful, and stuff.
