Jack win's for best line of the series:

"Under any other circumstances an exuberant Roman soldier would be my idea of a perfect morning."

Heh. Anyway, I think overall my response was "Ok...", though Ianto's reaction when Jack returned from the dead (the second time around) was delightful. He all but squeed aloud, "Jack's back, sex for MEEEE!" Can't say I'm any more in love with the series or the characters but the addition of the TARDIS at the very end with the hope of crossover city will bring me back.

What continues to confuse me is why these people want anything to do with one another, they're either at each other's throats, shooting each other or walking out on one another. I just wish I could see some connection between them all but I got nothin'. Ah well, maybe next season.

UPDATE: However, this made me laugh a lot, a very appropriate Torchwood/Brokeback Mountain vid-

Also this icon rocks my socks:

Dude they got in the jacket sniff scene, and that's what sold me on this one big time. Indeed as soon as Ianto went for Jack's coat I started humming the Brokeback theme.

Oh yeah, that was hilarious. But otherwise sucky episode.

The ending was so bad in so very many ways it's difficult to even list them all. And the magical rift plot device is just getting absurd. It's starting to remind me way too much of the usual Voyager-style last 10 minute re-set button that undoes all previous badness.

Did you see they're starting to run Enterprise on SciFi?

Enter-what?

Sigh!
