Class kicked my ass good and hard last night, it was all I could do to stay awake long enough to get home and fall into bed. So of course Pye had to have one of his bad nights. These are the times when kitty ball gags and restraints actually seem like an excellent idea.

I was contemplating how much I have to get done before this weekend and it depressed me utterly. Part of me almost wishes I didn't have dinner plans tonight so I could put the time to better use getting shit done. Hell, I haven't even cleaned my apartment since the weekend. Maybe I'll do that tonight when I get home. As I don't have a new episode of Lost to watch that gives me an extra hour.

Today I embrace the dark side and it's lord and master, caffeine. No choice, it's that or figure out someplace in our office to sneak a nap.

Good luck with that. I am looking at this weekend with a certain amount of dread, too, for the same reasons, although I mostly need to go out Friday evening and go shopping for the food for Saturday.

But, right there with you. I have no idea what I would be like right now without the cup of coffee *and* tea in me, but given how I'm still ready to faceplant into my keyboard, I am sure it would be a frightening thing.

I have a co-worker who regularly goes out and sleeps in his car during lunch. He makes sure to park under a nice, big shady tree. Just make sure to set the alarm on your cel phone to wake you up. :)

Speaking of which, they didn't have any of the low carb pita at Cosentino's so I just got some of the mini whole wheat ones. I'm going to Whole Foods tomorrow night, though, so anything you want me to pick up I can then. I know I'm supposed to get Tasty Bite peanut sauce, but am uncertain what else.

Uh oh. This isn't one of those "it's a cookbook"/Soylent Green type things, is it? You *did* seem awfully smitten with Lij's cannibalism in Sin City....

I finished my history test early this morning, so had about 40 minutes between classes instead of the usual 15-20. I went to the student center intending to read Monday's assignment, but ended up putting my head down on my arms and taking a catnap or two, instead. It got me through pre-calc, at least, though I sure would like to sleep again now.

I think this week is kicking everyone's asses. I just wish I believed it would end at the end of the week, but next week's going to suck, too.
