Ugh

Sorry to keep this short, um, great weekend got lots done my apartment is CLEAN!! My xmas stuff is all but concluded and I started leash-training Pye. Gods I love feeling accomplished. Thanksgiving was great, and despite overeating my weight continues to go down, woo! Exercising again and feeling like 5 pounds might not be so unrealistic after all.

For some reason I got no sleep last night whatsoever (I suspect a screwed up body clock is partially to blame) and woke up this morning sick as a dog. A few sips of juice were entirely too much for my stomach to handle and it punished me for my presumption. Went back to bed for a few hours but made it in to work by noon once I was reasonably sure my lunch was staying put. Lots to catch up on but all I want to do is sleep :P

Hmmm. I think I could fake my way through your job for a couple of days and you could crash at my place. However, in return for this kindness you'd have to start leash-training Margaret Anne.

Hey if I can train Pye I think I can train just about any cat. Of course I should say that I'm just in the early stages and he'll only tolerate the harness for so long. Then he starts doing crocodile death rolls to try and get it off.

Okay, when you're feeling better I'm going to bug you for training details. I have the harness and leash already from years ago when Emily used to walk three feet behind my ex and I when we took the dogs for a walk. She never warmed up to the harness though.

Feel better, sweetie!

(PS: just spotted the Cupid Fanfic link.... hmmm... may not be so bored over the next two days after all...)

Wait...you know Cupid?! I thought I'd already met every one of the 150 or so of us in the world who loved the show when it ran :0

LOVED that show. Tried to get everyone I knew to watch it. *sigh* So sad when it ended. Still love that Pretenders song they used as the theme.

Every time I hear "Human" I just have to smile, gods Cupid was so damn good. I still hold a grudge against ABC for screwing it up.

*LAUGH*

Oh my god, the mental images this calls up.

You are a brave woman; I always thought it was a cool idea, but never really took it seriously.

It's funny how terribly, terribly fond I am of the little blighter when I'm not sleeping in the same room as him. Mittens by night, adored by day.

We'll see how you feel about him after tonight, though he was mostly an angel last night (had a romp about 1-ish, then settled down again). BTW, need to talk to you about when you're arriving tonight, call me.

:( Hope you feel better soon! Have you tried those Emergen-C fizzy packets? They were rec'd to me by a friend, CN, who is into nutrition and I got some before the Vegas trip. She says they're good for fighting off colds and for increasing your energy. I took one the day before the party as I was feeling tres fatigued from the journey and I wanted to be mobile the next day. They perked me right up. CN swears they kill her colds in the bud when she thinks she's getting one. She takes a packet every six hours, three times. Anyway, whatever you do, I'm sending healing vibes and {{{hugs}}}.

Ate waaay too much and lost weight, what gives? I think I would have to get a tapeworm to accomplish such a feat! Glad to hear that your Thanksgiving was dandy, ours involved way too much "Dinner for Five" marathon watching some Harry Potter viewing and oh yeah, lots of eating! I have a package winging its way to you as we speak full of Simon Pegg goodness!

I generally prefer exercise to tapeworms myself :)
