Ok, I'm about as rabidly anti-romantic as a person can get, but this post (NEWS FROM SF: "The Next Right Thing") has got me all teary eyed and sighing like a lovesick teenager. Hey at least htey're happy tears :)

No I haven't, but I'd love to. I'm just so happy for all of them, it reminds me that as dark as things can get in the world love can still be one of the most wonderful and powerful forces in existence. Damn I'm getting goopey in my old age.

Thank you for sharing that, it was beautiful. I replied to the post and said so, too.

I'll repeat here part of what I said there: IMO, what's happening in SF validates marriage rather than undermines it. It's all about love and family and joy. How can that be wrong? How can someone else's happiness threaten your own?
