You tend to set and maintain very high standards for yourself.
Yeah, ok, so part of the eHarmony personality profile is dead on, but that's a bit of a gimme. Hell, I even get fortune cookies that tell me that same thing. I did find looking through these pages on myself kind of interesting. I was going to see if I could find more I agreed with then the site went kablooey. It's now cycling through it's "Sorry" page. Ick.
I'd like to thank everyone who responded with their own reactions to the service. I think my final response to it is "interesting, but not terribly useful". Still, I suppose it beats Craigslist.
Anyway, helluva game last night and I can't say I was even slightly heartbroken to see the Sabres win at home against the Sharks again. Would've been nice to see Briere get a hat trick (and he came damn close on at least 3 occasions). Got to see a bit of ice time for my own boy, the Dark Lord Himself. Someday the Devils must acquire him, I'm sorry, but can you imagine a Devils jersey that read "Satan" on the back? :)
We actually managed to get through a bunch more episodes and staying true to form ended with a wonderful Odo one ("Shadowplay"). Just can't get enough of the Constable. Had to wade through a bunch of somewhat mediocre O'Brien ones, though. I'd forgotten that the earlier seasons were heavy in "O'Brien torture" eps. Also watching "Armageddon Game" again reminded me of a problem I've always had with that one.
If these nano bio weapon thingies are so awful and horrible and devastating how come Julian could just whip Miles back to DS9 and cure him in about two seconds? He looked like he was recovering from nothing worse than a bad flu bug. And damn did the Federation ever need to deliver some serious smack down on both those races. It would've been awfully nice to actually have seen some of that onscreen.
"Whispers" was "eh" altogether, though it did have a few nice moments. I love the fact that the two senior staff that you don't want to try to outsmart are O'Brien and Odo (as seen in this one and "The Alternate") this season.
I'm enjoying all the episodes but some part of me just wants to get through a lot of what's left so we can get into the serious Dominion plot. The hints regarding it so far have been so tantalizing, and knowing what's coming is actually making it harder to wait for it. *sigh*
Hoping to get through some more eps tonight after I get a grocery store run done. I should do some housework as well really as starting tomorrow my time is completely full through..um..I think next Wednesday. Busy, busy week.
