If you're referring to the incident with the dragon, I was barely involved.

I've decided that line needs to be said during a game at some point in my life. I managed to work in "They have a cave troll." already. This is my new mission. Yes, the Action Channel is playing Fellowship now...doom!

Oooh, LOTR action figure news!
http://www.action-figure.com/Article10689.html

A few highlights:

For [livejournal.com profile] tersa- Superposeable Boromir
Boromir with Battle Attack Action
Boromir in Armor with Cloven Horn of Gondor

For [livejournal.com profile] aelfsciene- Pippin in Armor with Removable Helmet & Sword; sword slashing action
Merry in Rohan Armor with Sword Slashing Action

And of course for me- Superposeable Frodo
Mount Doom Frodo
Gorbag with Webbed Frodo Accessory

Mmm, webbed Frodo accessory.

Oh, and [livejournal.com profile] tersa, this should make you squee:

And crap, looks like I need that National Geographic ROTK Behind the Scenes Special after all.

Anyway, nice quiet but productive evening last night. I got all the little tasks done that I set for myself, including going through "Tic, Tic" and "Princess of Cairo" to refresh my memory of the two choreographies. Also laundry, sweeping, vaccuuming, sorting through a pile of paperwork that needed sorting, and general tidying up. Done, done, done.

As I was all alone for most of the evening I put the "Cabaret" soundtrack on and sang along (badly) while imagining Alan in full Nightcrawler regalia as he sang "Wilkommen". Yes, I am an odd woman.

Got everything finished and ate some dinner by 7, which was when Fellowship came on and I curled up with my sketchpad to work on my drawing. Got a bit more detail work done, but there's still plenty to do. Will I finish it before my patience runs out? We shall see.

Then I managed to get to bed by 10 (go me!) and to sleep before midnight for a change. Mmm, sleep. Was again awakened at a little after 5 by Pye scratching at the door for the better part of a half an hour. Finally got up and flung it wide open so he'd give me some peace. Must purchase a squirt gun, absolutely must.

Oh and did I mention I got tapped to do customer service yesterday? Frantic parental unit on the phone, our site broke their computer. Right. Finally talked him down and found a simple solution to the problem. He blessed me repeatedly and I was able to get back to my real work. Honestly, people, if you're going to use a computer, particularly for your work, figure out how to actually use it. It's really not that difficult. [/rant]

I did in fact go SQUEE (that's even a better picture of Wenham than a similar photo I've seen of them together) at the icon. And I'd love to see the action figures, but I will withold squee'ing until I've seen pictures.

However, I will also SQUEE about the fact that I checked Netflix this morning, and it sent me the first disc of "Sharpe's Rifles" yesterday. SQUEE! :)

And because you're a wonderful and generous person you'll invite me over to watch it when you get it, yes?

Because I'm a wonderful and generous person, I will even suggest I come over there to watch it. :)

(I mailed your housemate about possibly going to see Peter Pan this weekend, and then going back to your house afterwards to see "Sharpe's Rifles". :)

Looks as if the battle attack paint job is quite a lot better than the first one (originally a 2-pack). Definitely curious about the others, I admit I was hoping for a Boromir in Gondorian armor fig, but since they're all in the Fellowship line, I kinda doubt it.

So excited about Merry in armor, though I still haven't found even one Pip.

And please please let me know when you're watching Sharpe's Rifles too!

I have absolutely no comment whatsoever about Merry, Pippin, or "slashing action"...

Hmm, looks like I need that ROTK special too! Mmmm, ROTK.

Also, I am looking to work into my daily life the line "Show us the meaning of haste." Perhaps I shall use it on my minion one of these days. Muahahaha.

Hey Ellie,

Thought you might find this interesting...looks like Merry is gonna whoop it up NOLA style this year for Mardi Gras. The Orpheus parade is for sure the best parade to see as well.

I've always wanted to have the in-game opportunity to say something like, "Hey, who brought the blink dog?"
