First and foremost my condolences to elo_sf and phillipalden over the loss of their dog Max. The poor little guy's been struggling for a while now and it sounds like it was time to let him go. It's the worst part about being a pet owner, but the one we all have to face eventually. I must admit ever since reading about his passing I've been rather selfishly cuddling Kage.

I'm going to stop bitching about my own little problems with the house, I think, as it's quite clear things could be much worse. A few ants and some crazy plants seem rather insignificant at the moment.

On a slightly happier note, I wanted to thank moonlightnrain and lizzzie_lou for a wonderful housewarming dinner at Amber India tonight. The food was unbelievable and we had quite a vegetarian spread. It's an amazing place and highly recommended to all the locals. Great service too.

I also post this for my sister enuffistoomuch, knowing that she and I are both suffering mightily as we wait the extra week for the season finale of True Blood:
