Your tax dollars at work

Wow, who knew Goths were such a threat to the safety of children? Good thing the Republicans secured over $200,000 to protect us from this menace...

"Goth culture leaders who prey on our children"

This made me laugh out loud for at least 30 seconds.

This makes me sick. Of all the closed-minded, alarmist, stupid things to waste a pile of cash on...

They could take that money and spend it on better teacher salaries, text books, libraries, field trips, and things that would actually improve the schools. But no, they need to spend it on a brainwashing campaign instead.

This makes me want to start dressing in black every day again.

One of my classmates in high school was a goth, and wore full-on face makeup and goth clothing every day. She was also one of the more intelligent people in our school, and got excellent grades.

I think my favorite is the remodelling funding for a museum that won't even be built for 2 more years. Pork Barrel.

The scary thing is that this will only combat The Goth Conspiracy in a little suburb of Kansas City and will cost a quarter of a million dollars.
Imagine how much money Senator Graves is going to need for the rest of the state.
